In this video, I’ll be talking about affiliate marketing on youtube and how to use videos for affiliate marketing… If you are watching this video, you are probably are aware of how lucrative affiliate marketing can be, but in order to be successful, you must stand out from the crowd…

One of the best ways to do this is the affiliate marketing space is by using video content.  In todays day and age people prefer to watch videos instead of reading a long blog or article. In fact, recent studies show that 50% of people watch videos related to a product or service before making a purchase.

So what is Youtube Affiliate Marketing? This is simply the process of creating and uploading engaging videos for. your subscribers and just adding affiliate links within the videos or in the descriptions. 

It’s really that simple… you just need to join some type of affiliate program for the products or services you are selling and then post the link on your video description. Some strategies include, creating a youtube channel and creating helpful videos related to your products and services for your target audience. 

You can also create product review videos or FAQs about your products and services.  If you are on Youtube a lot you have probably come across these videos, but let me show you a couple of examples….

The first example is basically putting yourself on camera, this is not for everyone; but don’t worry if this scares you because my next example I’ll show you how to showcase products without showing your face.

So creating product reviews works best if you are familiar with the products or services and if you feel comfortable talking in front of a camera. Please watch video for details

A few tips you need when creating your videos for affiliate marketing..

1. Makes sure your video file name includes your keyword
2. always add relevant content in your video description along with your affiliate links – However, if you are using a new channel, do not add any links until you have at least 10 – 15 videos – youtube does not like it otherwise.
3. If possible, transcribe your video in your description
4. Add your videos to playlists
